Episode 3 - Over night flight

Dandalf went on his first work trip to the pub after work on a Friday evening. Drinking "Wizard Jerry's" rum like nobody's business was not his usual style, but it had been a long week prior to that. So he went out with a couple of work mates to wind down on a Friday night - the skinny tall blonde one with the smart mouth and the small foreign guy. They were alright.

Like many of us, alcohol brought the worst out in Dandalf. In his case, though, black magic became a part of his vice. People were scared of drunk wizards, or at least they were scared of Dandalf. He was an obnoxious drunk.

When out drinking, one of his favourite pastimes was inappropriately stealing someone's seat as they went to the bathroom. A social faux pas to say the least, and something that often left others standing in the corner awkwardly because they were too scared to tell the Wizard how much of a seat-stealing bastard he was. It gave him endless joy to watch their faces in the corner of his eye as they weighed up their options, pondering whether or not to approach this cloaked stranger about his choice of seat. The turmoil in their faces was almost too much to bear! But Dandalf had quite the poker face, managing to make it all look like one big innocent mistake.

This was his way of getting through the night as the others sat around the table playing some inexplicably inappropriate drinking games. What was this "Shoot, shag, marry" malarky? And why did Dandalf have to partake in an exercise in which making various levels of commitment to three different ladies was forced upon him? People were strange...

His indigestion was bothering him. Wizard's indigestion meant burps of fire, and it was a difficult thing to hide whilst in human company. Nobody could understand why the bathroom was so smelly and steamy after every time he'd been in there, luckily it was yet another faux pas for them to ask the question.

After a few hours, the team decided to head on home to their respective families. Mrs Dandalf would be a little upset that he was drunk but Dandalf was happy to let go of all of his worries, if only for just a moment.

The next day would be yet another in the life of a married Wizard. There was work to be done, the Mrs would make sure of that. But Dandalf would dream well tonight.
